Solution blueprint 04 · Digital marketing

Ads that pay back, and numbers the store agrees with.

A fashion brand's cost per sale keeps climbing, the ad platforms report more sales than the store ever saw, the same three ads have run for months, and most customers never order twice. This is how we would run its growth for the next ninety days.

A blueprint, not a client story: a problem we see often in D2C fashion, and how we would solve it.

The symptoms that bring a team to us, in their own words.

  • Numbers that disagreeThe ad platforms claim more sales than the store recorded.
  • Tired creativeThe same few ads have run for months, and results fade.
  • One-time buyersMost customers never place a second order.
  • Discounts as the only leverEvery push is a sale, and margins shrink with it.

The decisions · 4 that matter

What we woulddecide, and why

Reliable, scalable, secure and sensible on cost: the choices that get there, with the settings beside them.

01Measurement

Numbers the store agrees with.

Purchases are sent to the ad platforms from the server as well as the browser, with one event id so nothing counts twice. The store's own revenue becomes the source of truth, and the headline number is blended efficiency, revenue over all ad spend, rather than any one platform's claim.

02Creative

Five new concepts every week.

Creative is run as a system, not a mood: each week brings new hooks, angles and formats from creators and the studio, tested on a small budget with clear rules for what scales and what stops. Winners are recut, not run until they die.

03Retention

A second order without a discount.

Customers are grouped by how recently, how often and how much they buy. Each group gets its own journeys on WhatsApp and email: thanks and care after the first order, a nudge when they are due to reorder, and a win-back that leads with new arrivals rather than a coupon.

Spend where the margin is.

Each product line gets a target cost per sale from its real margin, not a single number for the whole store. Spend shifts every week toward the lines and audiences that clear it, catalogue campaigns run from a clean product feed, and pacing is checked daily.
